MRS. OLUWAFUNKE ALAWODE
Oluwafunke Alawode is a dynamic and accomplished professional with over 17 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector across various Nigerian banks. She holds a Master of Science in Finance, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
She has built a distinguished career marked by continuous growth, strategic leadership, and impactful contributions across multiple roles.
Currently serving at the Bank of Industry as a Head, Large Enterprise Credit Evaluation & Remedial. Oluwafunke leads key functions
including credit assessment, project structuring and finance, risk mitigation, monitoring, and financial advisory. Her expertise in risk management has been
instrumental in driving innovation and strengthening the bank’s operational
resilience.
In recognition of her academic excellence, she was awarded the Flagship Award as Best Graduating Student in the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) Examinations (2012).
