Mrs. Eva Akinwuntan

Eva is chartered accountant with extensive experience in banking. She is passionate about Diversity, Inclusion,
Sustainability, Learning, Development and International Business. Eva spent 35 years at Citibank Nigeria Limited, rising to Senior Vice President (General Manager) with remarkable accomplishments in leadership, Trade Products management, Risk management, Relationship Management, Trade Operations, Payments, Human Resource Management, and Service Quality Management.

She served as co-chair of the Citi Nigeria Women Network. Eva is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Lagos Business School. She holds a BSc in Accounting from University of Benin (1987) and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (2001). She attended “Developing Executive Presence for Women Leaders” by eCornell, Cornell University, USA.

She is a life member and honorary senior member (HCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), where she serves on the Capacity Building and Certification Committee. As a member of this committee, she provided training to staff of a bank. She handled compliance monitoring of the Institute’s certification examinations and participated in accreditation of training academy of some banks. She is a member of the sub committees on National Essay Competition. She is a life member of APWB and participated in APWB events where she provided training to students and attended the annual dinners.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She is a lifetime member of Women in Management, Business and Public Service. She is a Trustee of Fideliz Foundation, who support the education of the physically challenged.

She is fully aligned with the goals and objectives of APWB. She looks forward to the opportunity to serve,
bringing her wealth of experience in banking, to further elevate APWB through training, mentoring, coaching
and expanding APWB membership.
